Support for Parents & Carers

At Spring Lane Primary School, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school create the foundations for every child to flourish. We are committed to supporting parents and carers with clear communication, practical guidance, and a friendly, approachable team who are always here to help.

Open Communication

We encourage families to speak with us whenever they have questions or concerns. Class teachers, our pastoral team, and senior leaders are available for scheduled meetings, informal conversations, or quick check-ins at the start and end of the school day.

Pastoral & Wellbeing Support

Our dedicated pastoral team work closely with families to support children’s emotional wellbeing, behaviour, attendance, and personal development. If your child is experiencing any difficulties—big or small—please get in touch so we can help promptly and sensitively.

Help with Learning at Home

We provide guidance and resources to help parents feel confident supporting learning outside the classroom. From phonics tips to maths strategies, our team can offer advice during workshops, information sessions, or individual meetings.

Safeguarding & Family Support

Keeping children safe is at the heart of everything we do. Our safeguarding team is available to support families who may need guidance around wellbeing, online safety, or external services. We work closely with local agencies to ensure families receive the right support at the right time.

Practical Support

Whether you need help with school meals, uniform, attendance, financial support routes, or completing forms, our office and pastoral teams are here to assist. No worry is too small—please just ask.

Working Together

We value every parent and carer as a partner in their child’s education. By communicating openly and supporting one another, we can ensure all children at Spring Lane Primary School feel safe, happy, and ready to learn.
