School Dinners

Our school caterer is Fresh Start.  Fresh Start was founded in 2007 with a vision to provide school children with fresh, nutritional, and healthy ‘home-cooked’ meals.

Fresh Start are passionate about healthy eating and want to ensure all children have a nutritious and varied diet everyday whilst at school.

Their aim is “To provide healthy, nutritious and exciting food that utilises fresh ingredients that are locally sourced” and “To work in partnership with schools to educate young children about healthy eating and quality food through experience – i.e. eating the food and knowing the difference”

Fresh Start prepare all meals freshly, on site and only cook ‘from scratch’, which means they make everything from raw ingredients – even the freshly baked bread.  Fresh Start pride themselves on making sure that not only does the food taste great but it’s good for you too.
